Spray_resistant maybe Fat Dave can still fight at 175 if he returns immediately right after the Fat Gilbert fight

David Benavidez made weight Friday for his Saturday night title shot with more than three pounds to spare.

Phoenix’s Benavidez 31-0 (25KOs) weighed in at 196.8lbs for the Prime Video/DAZN pay-per-view bout at T-Mobile Arena while WBO/WBA champion Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez 48-1 (30KOs) weighed in at the limit 200lbs.

Benavidez’s father/trainer, Jose Benavidez Snr, said earlier this week he expects his son to rehydrate to around 210lbs by Saturday night’s first bell

Fat Dave might get pushed around and beat up, he probably won't put on any weight at all over the course of today until they're in the ring. Fat Zurdo may be 215? 220?

The Zurdo that DB sparred when they were 168-175 looks way different now. DB says he remembers everyone's style he spars against, and never forgets, but maybe there are some physicality aspects he will have to adjust for. I guess the same goes for both but DB looks the same as ever.

I watched a video with the matchmaker for PBC and he made the connection between David's jump and James Toney's jump to CW. It got me thinking of what that fight was, and yes, it was that fight vs Vassily Jirov, one of the best fights of all time in my book. Two husky southpaws Zurdo and Jirov, against the two naturals in DB and Toney.. I thought it was a fun comparison,.

heard Fat Gilbert at cruiser is a walking 210 same as Fat Davey

biggest rehydration fat boys in boxing

            Fat Gilbert
Fat Dave at 168 maybe 175 too?

Fat Gilbert rehydrated 30 pounds to 205 v Top Soviet Bivol

Career Cruiser Buff Guy Jai the fittest stud at cruiser is only 207!

I used to think these 3 at cruiser were all walking 220

I wonder how much Top Soviet Bivol would bulk up for cruiser

his fit walking weight is 185. Per Antonio Target it takes 6 months to bulk up for boxing. In that time Top Soviet could add 5 or 10 pounds of muscle

Cruiser Top Soviet Bivol 195 on fight night would be small for a cruiser

Top Soviet doesn't need any added weight really since his style is designed to negate bigger harder punching fighters, he needs to be fast and mobile since nothing he does will make him a big or even normal sized Cruiser.

                true true

maybe +5 pounds of muscle to be 190 and be reigning champ in 2 divisions simultaneously

If Mexicans are the high body fat % genes, Asians are the hard gainer genes

Let see if Top Soviet Bivol knocks out what should be that overmatched German later this month

Top Soviet Bivol could use another scored ko before facing Buff Guy Artur again

One of the greatest Asian fighters of all time, Pac #1 obviously but maybe Inoue is creeping up making a case for #2
