So he's had his share of slick sparring partners, and in the amateur ranks he's faced many different styles. He's set to turn pro after the Olympics in 2012, no matter what the outcome is.

he is 14 years old, this little dude has alot of experience though his record stands at 104-5...all 5 losses have been by Decision.

Yeah i've seen him fight live at Monterrey, the kid has all the right stuff to be a star in the future, he already has a large following and charisma.

how the hell can a kid that young have any charisma? this word gets bandied about more often than most without people actually thinking, so far iv seen DLH, pbf, haye all described as charismatic. right now the most charismatic guy in boxing is probably vlad k.

LOL we won't know until 4 more years maybe, he's still a baby at 14. He does look alot like Oscar though. I've heard people say Diego plans to surpass Oscar in accomplishments, and thats gonna be pretty hard to do, Oscar faced everybody in his career, Diego gots alot of work ahead of him.

yeah well Oscar has said in interviews in spanish networks that he's making sure Diego turns out a bigger star than him by guiding him and making sure he don't make the mistakes he did in his career such as the partying, and slacking off in training. Diego is getting alot of help from al the right people, they say Barrera, JMM, and Oscar are giving him tips and teaching him what worked for them.
