Comments Thread For: Who will be the next man to face Jarrell Miller?
Jarrell Miller defeated Lenier Pero in Florida last night. Will he renew hostilities with Anthony Joshua, challenge King Usyk, or go in another direction?

There's no chance of them putting AJ in with Miller for his pre-Fury warm up fight - I'd be genuinely stunned if they went in this direction. It's far too risky, especially as Joshua can't stand Big Baby (because of their past history i.e. Miller failing a drugs test just before they were due to fight and Ruiz being drafted in as an 11th hour replacement not to mention all the trash talk Big Baby subjected AJ to past and present). If the Powers That Be consider a shot Deontay Wilder too dangerous for AJ before Fury then there's no way they'll match him with a still fairly dangerous (albeit slow and overweight) Big Baby. He's a perfect summer opponent for Moses Itauma though who needs a trash talking dance partner to sell the promotion. If he beats Miller in style, you could then pair him with Hrgovic finally (if the latter takes care of business in his fight with Dave Allen and doesn't get a bad cut or anything like that) or even Kabayel at that point, depending on what Usyk decides to do. As for AJ, I think it'll be someone like Cassius Chaney for July/August (who he was scheduled to fight before the Jake Paul roadshow) or even Dillian Whyte (given that he appears completely shot) - although the cynic in me thinks that they'd even swerve Whyte just in case - such will be their desperation to get Joshua in the ring with Fury before the end of the year so everyone involved can make a fortune.
I wonder why Wilder wasn't mentioned. Chance of happening is 3% due to Wilder, but level of excitement is 7.
Miller, as pillow-fisted as he is, will pressure Wilder and stop him under 9.
As much as I disliked AJ in his hayday, he's beginning to grow on me. At least his memory is. AJ is done, he's sitting in the park feeding the ducks caviar. But! If AJ lands his bomb, I don't think Miller gets up like Andy
