I really thought he was goin somewhere after a gr8 win and gr8 fight wit Brewster. But he fell off hard in a snoozer KO loss to Briggs and I've paid him no attention since.

Jeremy Bates has made a good living the past couple years being a punching bag.

I remember he was chosen as Holyfield's comeback opponent and said that it would be his last fight because he had become a successful insurance salesman and didn't need boxing anymore.

Turns out he did a great job getting his ass kicked and there is always room in boxing for a fat bum with no chance.

Had Bates actually been worth a **** and gave Holyfield a hard time he would probably not have gotten another fight offer much less 3 or 4 against big name opponents like he has.

Carnivore clearly states in a post right above yours that Lyakovich won by 1st round KO.
