Comments Thread For: Conor Benn signs five-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing ? but what now?

Can't believe Zuffa wants to sing this Mediocre boxer.
If they want someone pouplar sign Jake Paul.

Zuffa is going down the drain once the Saudi money is gone.

Not interested in Benn vs Options. Options are cheap imports and faded names. Ryan is the low hanging fruit, expect lower. They're not trying to bump off their milk cow.

Purse comes first. The best fight should be the one that pays the most. I don’t like Benn but chasing the bag is common sense for anyone in his position.

Who says cheating doesn't pay. I've been following boxing since the 70s and Zuffa just showed their true colours that the interest of boxing doesn't come first and will promote a known drug cheat. He didn't fail the same drug test once but twice. Anyone who is a true boxing fan must never buy a Zuffa PPV boxing fight otherwise you are part of the problem.

Failed two separate drug tests which is worse but yeah.

Loads of fighters fail drug tests though, Canelo, Ryan Garcia, Tyson Fury to name three, three of the biggest stars in the sport still currently.

Doesn't mean promoters won't sign them.

Well guess Eddie was right. Will be interesting to see where the 5 fights end up.

yeah, so do you mind updating your post to add the following :

*Canelo passed the hair follicle test, suggesting contamination. Also, under current WADA, he would passed his test with flying colors.

                  thanks

I don't have a problem with Benn I hope he makes a lot of money, I hope that feuding teenage promoters grow up.
