Can’t see any women being able to win more than 2-3 rounds against Shields.

I can see this happen. Mayer is rangy, mean and all she has to do is stay composed and box. The one-two or double jab and boom. Shields is a brawler that leaves herself wide open throughout a entire fight. I would love to see this fight

I mean she has a point.. Shields hasn’t fought anybody who’s long and rangey like Mayer who can box using it before in her career. Not saying Mayer would win but style wise shields has fought a lot of women who are tailor made for her in terms of them being slower and more ponderous on there feet then her. I think Mayer at 154 for example would pose a new challenge for her and it’s the kind of fights she should be looking at instead of going all the way to the female heavyweight division where its basically a division of women who look like novices in there

Depends on the weight. If Shields kills herself to get down low enough for Mayer to have a chance than maybe. If they fight at 160 Shields will dominate her so bad. I think Shields never showed us her full potential not even close she is always levels above and never had to go to her absolute best to win a fight. But all the praise aside i would love to see Thurman vs Shields. A nice career ending first round knockout for Thurman would be deserved
