This should be a good action fight with Abdullah Mason handling the business between rounds 7 and 9, that's my prediction anyway. I'd like to see Mason in some bigger fights soon though. The talent that he's got is undeniable.

Why even get people hyped that a future fight with a real opponent is possible when facing such a novice! We need a William Zepeda, Floyd Schofield, Lamont Roach, Raymond Muratalla type of fight, not this BS! Cleveland can support this I'm not!

believe it or not joe is ranked above all those guys in the wbo rankings & its a good 1st defense for a newly won young belt holder as well

The match-up was being foreshadowed when Cordina won a WBO secondary title vs. Flores. Cordina is ranked WBO #1, so he's fair game. Hopefully, Cordina makes Mason think in there.

I seriously doubt Cordina will offer anything threatening to Mason. Keep in mind that he got butchered by Carace at 130 a few years ago.

could be right there, all the orgs have their own ways of doing things, u have to fight the guys on their list to make progress i guess

Cordina didn't look great in the fight b4 Cacace either. After the flat performance vs. Vasquez, he should've moved up. I really don't think Cordina can absorb the beating Noakes did. Cordina used to be more of a slickster, but started believing in his power after KO'ing Ogawa. He holds his feet too long now, and Mason has the speed/reach to crack him.
