Still Clueless About Floyd Mayweather? That’s Your Problem

You still don’t get Floyd Mayweather, do you? The man literally told you it’s an exhibition, not because he’s confused, but because he knows exactly how to sell a fight and keep his name in the headlines. That’s called intelligence, something his critics clearly lack. Floyd isn’t some amateur who signs contracts blindly, he’s one of the smartest businessmen boxing has ever seen.

When he says “exhibition” what he really means is this -> it’s going to be another easy night, another showcase, another reminder of how he already outclassed Manny Pacquiao before and will do it again without breaking a sweat. He’s already proven who’s better, and he knows it.

And let’s stop the nonsense about Floyd being broke, that’s just wishful thinking from haters. If anything, the one struggling to stay relevant is Pacquiao, coming off a failed election run. Floyd doesn’t chase money. Money chases Floyd.

No paycheck needed. It’s called having a brain, clearly not everyone’s equipped with one.

The floyd fight for pac felt like a sparring session, rather than exhibition. Must be been one of pac s easiest fights.
Floyd won't be in pac s top ten toughest fights, and pac has said as such/much

Calling that fight “easy” for Manny Pacquiao just tells everyone you either didn’t watch it or didn’t understand what you were watching.

Floyd Mayweather turned a so-called ATG fighter into someone hesitant and out of rhythm the entire night. That’s not a sparring session, that’s control. He dictated the pace, picked the shots, and made Pacquiao look ordinary. That’s exactly why people who actually know boxing respect what Floyd did in that fight.

Saying Floyd wouldn’t even crack Pacquiao’s toughest fights list is just revisionist nonsense. If it was really that “easy” there wouldn’t still be this much complaining and rewriting of history years later.

Good news is they had a literate Haymon who wrote out full length public newspaper apologies for fraudulent drug accusations against Manny where they also paid out private settlement $$$ for damage they created.

"Floyd doesn’t chase money. Money chases Floyd." Which money is chasing a 50-year-old Floyd, Netflix? They wouldn't dare make it PPV, because they know there is virtually no interest in seeing Pacquiao vs Mayweather II at this point.

You can mock all you want, but Floyd Mayweather built an undefeated career, mastered the business side of boxing, and controlled every aspect of the biggest fights in the sport. That doesn’t happen by accident, that’s discipline and intelligence, whether you like him or not.

And bringing up side issues and name-calling doesn’t change what actually happened in the ring against Manny Pacquiao. When they fought, Floyd dictated the pace, neutralized Pacquiao’s strengths, and walked away clearly ahead. That’s the part you can’t argue, so you try to distract from it.

Floyd Mayweather at 50 still has people talking and debating about him. That alone proves the interest is there. Meanwhile, most fighters can’t even stay relevant five years after retirement.

And bringing up Netflix like it’s some kind of insult? That actually proves the point. Major platforms don’t touch things “with no interest” they go where the attention (and money) is. Floyd generates both without even trying.

If there was truly “no interest” you wouldn’t be here arguing about it. Reality is simple..Floyd’s name still sells, still trends, and still gets reactions, while you’re stuck pretending nobody cares.
