My boy Keith was getting beaten up, but I do think the stoppage was premature. I think Taylor is one of the best in the game, but I disagree with the stoppage as Keith wasn't defenseless, didn't go down, and was still making defensive moves and throwing punches. Would the final outcome have been different? Probably not. Sebastian was having his way with him. And maybe a further beat down would have prevented Keith from having another fight. I'm genuinely surprised at how poorly Keith did. Fundora was impressive. I think the only way to beat Fundora is going at it like Hagler and Hearns did.

It wasn't that Thurman was bad, it's that Fundora was actually very impressive...
Regardless of the Ref's call, Thurman would have continued to be pugilated.

I wouldn't have wanted to see such a great fighter go down like that.
Besides... it was an awesome fight!

and Thurman was the Hypeman for all that.. that dude knows how to sell a fight!
Fundora's presence sells a fight too.. it's quite entertaining to watch him fight because
he's physique.. moves differently than others.

Probably not even Crawford could be Fundora. Crawford has never face anyone with a longer reach than him.

My money would definitely be on Crawford, but I'd love to see how he'd go about it.

I'd like to see Keith against a top tier opponent with a normal physique. I don't think he looked shot, he just looked lost.

And Fundora has improved since the Mendoza fight, which he was winning basically every round in before he got clipped.

It was a fine call by the ref, Thurman was getting pasted bloodied up and only landed about 25 punches mostly moving on the backfoot through 6.

Tzsyu did a lot better than Thurman in both the first and second Tszyu - Fundora fights. Thurman barely landed a shot and ran like a rabbit, all the while getting beat up. I used to be a big Thurman fan but that guy needs to stop talking BS and actually start doing something in the ring.

Thomas Taylor is the best referee in boxing in my humble opinion. Thurman looked like he was in a car wreck. A few of those lacerations on his face are going need stitches because they were pretty deep. It was a good stoppage. Still, Thurman has a heart of a lion to step in that ring with that freak of nature.
