I mean Tszyu was shaking on his school begging and pleading to stop the fight. He looked like a dog when you eat in front of him and his corner gave in.
Tszyu didnt take benifit of Fundora when he was there for the taking in the first fight. Now we have the best version of Fundora and we in for a treat because win or lose him against Ortiz and Boots are really good match ups

He always makes weight, he doesnt seem to pack on a bunch of weight after weigh ins to outweight his opponent in the ring- like some fighters are known for.

He is not a weight bully, I guess you could call him a height bully, but nobody likes that because it isnt as catchy. Moreover, it then implies that the complainer wants there to be 'height classes'. As if all fighters need to have the same physical build.

whats next, strength classes? Speed classes? Lets just Harrison Bergeron the whole thing...
Let people talk Fundora is just special and in a world full of average you will always see the ordinary people hating on special people.

Why is Fundora special being that tall and making the weight easy without much of rehydrating not even outweighing his opponents means that he is just natural at that weight and being that skinny is usually never an advantage in boxing. Boxing is around for hundreds of years if it would be easy or a big advantage everyone would look like fundora but usually if you that skinny you have no strenght left and more important no energy but this guy is physically stronger than maybe the whole division and he has for sure more energy than all his opponents so far.

I remember my first amateur coach wanted me to stay at welterweight i was 17 turned 18 and was putting on weight fast and was 6'2 but he kind of demanded that i stay at welterweight he himself was very experiencedand fought at welter himself in several world champion tournaments winning a medal at 1989 and also fought at the olympics, he though i have a big advantage at that weight, i disagreed but i did what every 17 year old kid would do and listen to my Coach. However i always felt so weak and i even had to slow down the strenght training more and more as i put on muscles that made me grow out the division.

Coming to the point i just knew i'm not myself at that weight and always felt like very strong fast explosive guys could potentially give me trouble since i just felt weak. When i stopped for a while and came back to boxing i told myself this time i will just train hard, keep eating clean like always but as much as i want and not holding my weight down. I ended up being at my natural weight between 178-185 lean no fat too lose and this now for 7 years straight and i'm stronger and have way more energy than almost every guy i'm in the ring with.

My point is killing yourself to make a weight way out of your natural zone just to be taller or having a longer reach will not benefit you at all and that's why we never saw a Fundora and if so very rarely (Espinoza comes to my mind). These guys are special it's the same as a fighter being super athletic or having one punch ko power or a granite chin, it's nothing you can just replicate.

Yes he made money and the promoters can make a few more bucks on him if he decides or beleives his own words and steps back in, this was very predictable and he should thank the Ref for saving some of his face and skull when he did stop it. Not insult him or low ball Fundora.
I actually just watched some of the post fight presser and do believe Thurman is delusional on the loss. He put blame on the ref and also kind of downplayed Fundora's victory. Indicating it was mostly because of his gifts and that these can negate a special or highly skilled fighter, that being, himself he's referring to as the special or highly skilled fighter. That the only reason Fundora won was because of the height. He did mention Fundora has gotten better though in his last few fights, but overall, it felt more like him trying to make an excuse for why he lost.

Look, the height obviously played a role in it, but when Tszyu pieced up Fundora in both their fights and Mendoza KO'd him, it means Fundora isn't unhittable. If they were able to, why did Fundora make it so easy against you Thurman? Age? Inactivity? Probably all of that, but until you come to realize that, you're in delusion now.
