This clearly proves without question that Joe Calzaghe was better than a Prime Roy Jones.

I already said Mitchell should be counted among Joe's better wins.

Good for Byron. Best of luck to him and the rest of his career. I always liked him, he seems like a good dude.

I saw this fight live from the front row. It was my first live fight and I really enjoyed the fights. The final bout was the best of the night. Mitchell had heavy hands. He knocked Telesco down at the end of the 1st round with a crushing right. He punched much harder than Telesco. The second knock down in the 2nd round was a hard blow and Telesco went face first to the canvas. He immediately tried to get up but could not make it. I could see from my vantage point that his eyes were not clear and he was done. The look in his eyes told the whole story IMO. The referee started to count but at about the count of 2 or 3 he realized counting was not necessary and called the fight. I think that could be a career ending punch for Telesco. I don't know if he can get over that KO b/c IMO it really was a lights out end of the night blow and his expression said it all. Of course, that was my 1st live fight so it's only my opinion and boxers have come back from worse.

I got to meet Mitchell and his trainer after the fight and both were very nice and humble in the victory. I shook Byron's hand and could tell from his grip that he is very strong. Star boxing put on a good event and I will be at the next event on 12/3.

Post up if anyone has a question about the fights/event and I'll do my best to answer.
