Thurman is a solid B as a fighter, same as Fundora - neither are A- such as Canelo - and never will be and neither can dream of being an A+ like Mayweather

True, but Thurman and Fundora are in the top 1% at what they do for a living and I'm guessing that most people on this board and people we meet in our day to day lives are nowhere near the top 1% at what they do for a living.

Hopefully Thurman has a few fights left in him

Boxing could use a shot in the arm

His biggest accomplishment so far was how he had Floyd ducking him

Sorry, Keith, you didn't reach your full potential as a young man, and now it's simply too little, too late.

Amazing how pelicans can't box, yet somehow find a way to rate world champions as B level fighters. I wonder what rating it would give itself ?

A lot of the comments I've seen about this fight have been about how flakey Thurman can be, but it's actually Fundora who is coming into this fight off an injury that postponed this bout the first time.

It seems like Fundora is settling into his time as champ and gotten better - but then I remember the opponents and the amount of time it took for those fights to occur. There were a lot of people here saying that he was just waiting to cash out his title - avoiding certain guys and waiting for a big name.

He is one of those guys who, like Thurman was when he was that age, has outside interests other than boxing, and he speaks about that in interviews. Fundora always lets you know about other stuff other than boxing. I think Thurman is on point in his comments in the article - KT has been in the same mindset Fundora might be in now.

Since being KOed, Fundora has beaten Tim Tszyu twice and Chordale Booker. And by the time he fought Tim the second time, Tsyzu had taken another brutal beating at the hands of Bakrham. . Tyszu came back to beat Joey Spencer who fought like a goof in that fight, a totally useless fight that ":earned" him the Fundora rematch. So, I don't think that is enough to say Fundora has really gotten all that much better - I think he still has to win a fight like this to prove any of that

Thurman should be much better than Booker and a Tim who is coming in off a beat down, or the Tim who had blood in his eyes for 10 rounds and was still landing big shots - so, at least at the level of Mendoza who KO Fundora. It looks like Keith has put work into his body

that's what fans do and this forum is full of nothing but opinions .If we all had to have done something before we could comment then we would have only boxers commentating on tv bouts and that wouldn't make for a good tv experience
