Comments Thread For: Gabriel Rosado fights on but won?t allow boxing to define him

Philadelphia?s Gabe Rosado gets the gloves back on Saturday, and he believes he might just have one last run in him. But if not, he says, "it's just boxing."

Always respected Rosado for being a warrior and fighting everybody, but coming back at 40 is just ridiculous, specially for someone who was never truly elite.

It's too late for him not letting boxing define him because it already did. At the end it is prize fighting and they went with the highest purse. Brave fighter that got in with anybody they would align for him.

He must be in need of money or don’t understand the health risk at this stage in life, but I will be the first to say he crazy as hell! The head shots will pay dividends later and the brain is very complex so the risk are real and can be serious.

I could see Rosado vs Najee Lopez if both win their upcoming fights.

I think it's be a good jump off point for Lopez and good retirement fight for Gabe, giving love to a new PR fighter on the scene.

Gabe is a throwback and a warrior! Great to see him fighting still I been watching him years and could think of 4 or 5 fights he got screwed the Love one being top of the list Murray in England too. But he’s made more money than most respect to the man!

Fighting with heart but knowing boxing isn’t everything shows real maturity.
