Bad look from Vergil - he says all the right things, but the actions don't follow.

I've been a big fan, but pulling out of the two Stanionis fights and derailing Stan's career was really off-putting. Stanionis should/could have been more than he was, but his form got lost during that time and never got the fight he was waiting for.

And so for Vergil to be doing all this after Ennis stepped to him - all of a sudden trying to go against Oscar and weasel out out of his contract, what the hell is that?

I mean, it was annoying enough for him to be mentioning Spence the day after Ennis stepped to him. Everyone in boxing is talking Vergil-Boots, but he's talking Spence. Spence hadn't even announced he was still fighting when Vergil brought him up.


And this is all while fellow GBP fighter, Ryan Garcia, the one who was supposed to be a clown, is actually breaking out now and surpassing Vergil. Ryan has comeback from multiple setbacks already while Vergil is still failing to take off the first time.

Vergil was supposed to be the serious one.

Nobody knows if Vergil is actually going to make the fight though. A contract can be signed with Vergil, as we saw this week, that doesn't mean much to him.
