That gets better and better so the guy served as punching bag for Fury. Even better he has lower KO percentage than Mayweather and is used to 5 round fights. Also fun fact Jason Statham pitched this fight to Turki. He is a very close friend of Rico and told Turki to make the fight between Ngannou and Rico and Turki didn't even know who Rico was but Statham kept telling him that Rico is this big star in Netherland and d.mb Turki thought okay let's make the biggest Mismatch in a title fight ever.

Now we have actors getting their best friends title fights. What a Frankenstein we created

""Strong punch the face means nothing?"" Someone tell that fool to watch what happened to Ngannou when Joshua hit him.

Obviously on paper this is a mismatch, though weirder things have happened. According to Max Kellerman during their Ring discussion, Rico is considered maybe the greatest kickboxer to ever live? Sure, it probably won't translate well to just boxing, though you got Usyk who can have a getting old overnight moment at any moment in his fights now at this stage of his career and a dude whose going to come in motivated.

Rico the greatest Kickboxer ever is the most casual and laughable statement someone could ever make. Not even close to be the greatest Heavyweight. He dominated a weak era and is the equivalent of Klitschko. When he fought a shot to pieces Badr Hari he still struggled and got almost finished in a different era Rico would most likely been beaten in every second match at the top level. That being said that dude can't punch at all.

Well, I don't know jack **** about kickboxing so I'll take your word for it. If you're also saying he can't punch at all, then perhaps this is a very safe and easy payday for Usyk.

He did dominate a weak era compared to the 90s/00s but he would have been in the mix in any era. Its still impressive as **** going undefeated as long as he did in a sport where there isnt really cherry picking and you sometimes have to compete multiple times in one night. Hes easily one of the best pure athletes at HW in any combat sport over the past 10 years too.

Obviously none of that makes this fight any less ****** though.
