WATCH!!! Navarrete vs. Nunez live stream Anywhere

Two Mexican warriors face off in a super featherweight unification fight when Emanuel Navarrete takes on Eduardo "Sugar" Nunez.Emanuel Navarrete vs. Eduardo Nunez is on February 21 from inside the T-Mobile Arena. The main card starts at 8 p.m. ET and the main event should begin around 11:30 p.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

On Saturday night in Glendale, Arizona, super featherweight champions Emanuel Navarrete (39-2-1, 32 KOs) and Eduardo 'Sugar' Nunez (29-1, 27 KOs) will clash for a unification bout.

'Vaquero' Navarrete will put his WBO title on the line, while also chasing Nunez's IBF title at 130 pounds. A win for either man would make them a unified world champion for the first time.

Navarrete is coming off a controversial no-contest result against Charly Suarez. Despite being awarded the victory on the night via technical decision, the California State Athletic Commission overturned the result.

The bout had been stopped due to a cut on Navarrete that was seemingly caused by a headbutt. However, it later appeared to be a punch by Suarez, meaning he should have won the bout via TKO.

A multi-division champion, Navarrete (39-2-1) won the WBO super featherweight title in 2023. He’s successfully defended the belt three times. After failing to capture lightweight gold, his last fight was a no-contest after he clashed heads with Charly Suarez.

With 32 wins via knockout, “Vaquero” is ready to add to his legacy with an impressive win.

“I’m really excited about this fight with Sugar Nunez. More than the fight, the main goal has been to unify these titles,” Navarrete told BoxingScene. “But I am happy that it begins with him. I studied him for probably six months and knew that he was the one I wanted to fight next.”

Nunez (29-1) won the IBF title in May and successfully defended it in his last fight in September. "Sugar" has 27 wins via knockout. At 28, Nunez’s goal is to take over the division. He’s ready to go to war with another knockout artist.

“I'm very excited and eager to be in the ring with Navarrete,” said Nunez via The Ring. “He's a fighter I've always admired, and it will be an honor to unify the titles. Above all, it will be a great fight for all the fans. Mexico vs. Mexico is a guaranteed war — and this one will be no exception.”
