staph infections can be quite serious. There are guys in the NFL that have missed literally YEARS because of staph infections.

No one likes Pavlik being inactive. No one wants the Williams fight canceled. But injuries are injuries and I'm sure Pavlik is pretty upset about the whole thing himself. No reason to stop liking a guy, it's not his fault the infection wont go away.

I'm not a Pav fan, but stick with your fighter. A dude that went to my church got killed by a staph infection in his mouth. He said he was sick and went to the hospital. Died the next day. So if Kelley says he has that. Its best for his health to take care of that.

EXACTLY, im not even a big pavlik fan, but TS is acting like pavlik went out and bought this damn infection... like it was the cool thing to do...

why the **** would pav want to be inactive, why would he skip out on big paydays in his prime... surely he's more pissed than some half assed fan on BS

i feel ya man... trust me, the fans are losing out on this too, but dont think we're the only ones... its his career he's missing out on... it sucks but it is what it is at this point in time...

Yes i wish i could do this thread all over again because i was being dumb and selfish My bad and I do wish dude gets better. And one thing I'm a fan of his not to the level of cotto, and or pac, or chad dawson but i am a fan. Not the biggest of his but i like how he fights. Seriously I thought he was going to lose to miranda i was wrong then when he beat taylor thats when i became a fan, not like I was following dudes career from the jump.

It sucks Pavlik had to deal with this ****. He should just not do anything until **** is completely healed. As far as this fight, I'm over it for the time being. Paul Williams I would hope, will finda fight else where, He can't just keep waiting for this. There are still some good fights forhim to be made.

Maybe a better way of putting it is Pavlik is one of the biggest disappointments of 2009, because that's how I feel. Again, not all his fault, but still disappointing nonetheless.
