When somebody is full of negative energy, you have to get away from them. For example, the same way his wife left him for a brother with a bigger johnson, he gotta leave his pops for a smarter trainer

For those with the mental strength and maturity, yes, changing trainer is a no brainer. I'm not sure Teo can handle the potential drama though. He seems mentally and emotionally weak. Keeping his idiot dad around suggests this is the case.
