The best way is to buy the minimal subscription for non-PPV shows and then free streams everywhere for the unworthy PPV's which as an example, neither Garcia nor Barrios individually or as a sum are worthy of PPV. Niether fighter has been dominant with Barrios in questionable decisions and Garcia having lost his last fight and cheated before his last fight. To me, I'd pay for Ortiz vs Ennis, or Opataia vs the Ramirez/Benavidez winner, or Canelo vs MBilli (mainly to see if Canelo can withstand the younger MBilli at his age), I'd even throw in Muratalla vs Mason with Shofield vs Zapeda or Carrington vs Espinoza on that undercard as worthy. Even though these fights I mentioned would not all be on a DAZN card, though some could be, they would be worthy of PPV - But no way in hell is Barrios vs Garcia a PPV fight and other matchups that DAZN would charge a PPV for.

Unfortunately Matchroom is landing this on-the-surface great contract at the moment boxing is becoming more and more irrelevant.Crawford is retired for good, I 2 years AJ, Fury, Usyk, Canelo and Wilder will be out of the sport .Benavidez will still be crying for big fights while avoiding guys like Opetia, Garcia will still be an up and down train wreck with limited crossover marketability, Shakur will still be boring and Tank may well be in jail for a decent stretch. There will be no one on the horizon who will really draw massive attention.

Hey now, don't jump up and down all excited for what the sport has to offer. lol.

Yes, there will be a crop of last generation retiring really soon. Though that's normal and to be expected. For me, I never expected Crawford to pick up any mantle after beating Canelo because I already knew he was too old for that.

Benavidez could be the guy, but yeah, he needs a mega matchup to make him a star. Shakur is a mix of boring and those that like to see a guy win decisions while barely taking punishment. I normally despise those type fighters but because he's from Jersey, I'm on his side. I'm not sure how big of a star he can become like that unless he goes down the Fraud Jr. route and just turn total heel that you want to see him lose.

Yeah I don't know. Maybe even at my age, I don't care as much and I just like watching whatever is available whenever I'm available to catch them. My hype for even the biggest fights isn't like when I was younger. I'm not sure if that's a sign of the current times or just me getting older. Boxing is certainly not what it used to be, but you still get some gems here and there and I'm all for those when they occur.

It may be a while but we have many prospects and contenders (Crawford and the rest were prospects at one time), and with the amateur boxers coming into the Pro's, this will form tomorrows stars. We could make a list of all the prospects and contenders and there could and most likely will be future greats.

I remember when BAM Rodriguez was just a prospect and appeared too young to mix with the top names and then he went on a tear knocking out champions and former champions and contenders and like him, I think others will emerge too and become stars. Now I'm not sure if he will reach superstar ATG status but he is doing great things.

Hard to say if anyone soon will become another Canelo or Crawford but it will happen as the current amateurs become prospects who become contenders and then champions and then reach the next level. Not to mention the current prospects, not just amateur hopefulls.

Age is certainly a factor, also experience in seeing how many end up being anticlimactic. The big fights need to complement an otherwise strong schedule for boxing to grow.
