ICEMAN JOHN SCULLY ... I agree but I don't think Bivol is ready to feel the pain again yet... Despite his (lengthy) recovery I haven't read or heard anything from him for that thing to happen ... He'll have to face his demons though... There's got to be a 3rd one...

yeah and also I always keep in mind in situations like this that fighters have managers and investors, and promoters to answer to, and even if they want to fight to happen, they can be overruled by the people who control their money

Thank you for bringing some rationality to proceedings. Appreciate your contributions here.

I'm sure the third fight will happen.

thank you, my man. I think sometimes people forget that boxing is a business and it’s just not always as simple as it should be or as it seems to make fights. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that dictate who fights who and when and where

Bivol was injured. Were he Mexican or American he would have been given the opportunity to leverage his hard earned status as an 'undisputed' champion before fighting Benavidez. But because he's from Kyrgyzstan, and Sulaiman was determined to give the belt to Benavidez, he was stripped within months (unlike Canelo).
How does it feel that you’re shamelessly making excuses for a guy that was supposed to have fought the Beterbiev trilogy by now but is instead fighting Michael Eifert? Talk about an edgelord,

I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to someone who's given as much of himself to the sport as Bivol has.

Top Soviet Bivol's manager mentioned rematch with Saul Santos multiple times comes to mind

no fan demand to see Saul Santos get mopped twice by Top Soviet Bivol

but Saul Santos is the money opponent so Bivol manager kept bringing him up

                  fighters get a grace period

fight a 'major' opponent every other fight

especially Top Soviet Bivol who coming off back surgery and two major fights in a row. tuneup is justifiable

Most likely to happen next from most to least
                  1. Fat Dave [if he beats Fat Gilbert] because Turki will pay most for Biv-Dave
                  2. Buff Guy Artur trilogy demand but Fat Dave is the bigger draw
                  3. Fat Gilbert if he beats Fat Dave
                  4. Parker's Cousin Buff Guy Jai relatively unknown boxer beyond hardcores. High risk, low monetary reward, high legacy reward
Top Soviet Bivol will fight one before the end of 2026!

I get that... Only thing is you would expect Bivol to push for Beterbiev 3 at least in talks and chatting ... Doesn't happen ... That leads me to think that the thought of suffering the pain a 3rd time isn't on Bivol priority list ...
