I know Bam does a good job with angles, movement, and taking his time while slowly beating you down. I think Stevenson is probably the better fighter from the eye test. I would like to see how good he would be at welterweight yet I want to see him conquer 140 first. I don't think he can be successful at 154 though. Eventually those bigger guys would start to walk through someone who started at 125.
+ Floyd already broke the defensive wizard ceiling

the public has accepted a defense specialist as the PPV goat

Good question. I’m from NJ and root heavy for Shakur.

Right now and for the foreseeable future it’s Bam.

I have Bam Top 5 p4p since Crawford retired. He has a strong resume and watching him fight is an experience for all real boxing fans. Shakur just got in my top 10.

Shakur will likely get elevated above Bam at some point only because he fights at a higher weight class, especially when he gets to 147 which is a glamour division. The voters seem to favor the bigger guys.

        Bam is the real deal.

Teo has been terribly inconsistent over the years.

Shakur has one good win and has done nothing else yet.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Bam has the proven credentials. Shakur doesn't.

            re: P4P

            Ring panel is mostly American.

ESPN is 100% American, with major bias.

They always gonna favor lightweight to heavyweight, because that's where the Americans are.
And in effect, every casual fan will follow.
