Stevenson has kinda lock down boxing for now. His timing, space, step back, high guard blocking, and he does decent shoulder roll. It's pretty hard to catch him and if you do, then he will return the favor with a 3-4 punch combination. I know Bam does a good job with angles, movement, and taking his time while slowly beating you down. I think Stevenson is probably the better fighter from the eye test. I would like to see how good he would be at welterweight yet I want to see him conquer 140 first. I don't think he can be successful at 154 though. Eventually those bigger guys would start to walk through someone who started at 125.

Neither. Benavidez is the guy and it's hilarious how he keeps being ignored. If he goes up 25lbs and beats Zurdo he should be ahead of any other american. 25lbs is the biggest weight jump in the sport.

Good question. I’m from NJ and root heavy for Shakur.

Right now and for the foreseeable future it’s Bam.

I have Bam Top 5 p4p since Crawford retired. He has a strong resume and watching him fight is an experience for all real boxing fans. Shakur just got in my top 10.

Shakur will likely get elevated above Bam at some point only because he fights at a higher weight class, especially when he gets to 147 which is a glamour division.The voters seem to favor the bigger guys.

Bam is the real deal.

Ring panel is mostly American.

ESPN is 100% American, with major bias.

They always gonna favor lightweight to heavyweight, because that's where the Americans are.
And in effect, every casual fan will follow.
