It was a surprise that Diego Pacheco withdrew from the purse bid for a vacant WBO super-middleweight title fight with Hamzah Sheeraz

Both of them are pathetic duckers. Sheeraz ducked Mbilli and Pacheco ducked Sheeraz.

sheeraz was offered 3 title fights simultaneously (mbilli, pacheco and iglesias). maybe he would have declined mbilli if he was the only option but that wasn't the case. pacheco is to blame here. if he knew he needs more time to acclimate to his new team, he should have declined this title fight immediately. everybody just wasted time.

I think the smw division is crying out for another Super Six style tournament involving Iglesias, Sheeraz, Resendiz, Mbili, Pachego & Martinez. Could even throw in Plant & Surace and call it the Gold-plate eight.. Eventual winner gets a Canelo-Cash contest as a bonus.

          I can dream..

Winner get's Canelo? Hell no Canelo entering the tournament he cherry picked his way through the division for more than 4 years, no more presents for that boy.

And he’s fighting none of them next.

Thats boxing in 2026…almost everyone is looking for the lowest risk fights they can still get paid for.
