I don't think they will ever meet. Mayweather can make more money with the opponents at welterweight, like against Mosley, Cotto, and Pacquiao(Mayweather has to fight these guys at some point)... and I don't think Williams is coming back to welterweight. Williams wouldn't be a money attraction for Mayweather and the only possible way I could even see Williams getting some sort of attention is if he annihilates Kelly Pavlik, which may raise several eyebrows. Even if Williams managed to do that, I'm not sure they could agree on a fighting weight.

If they fought, I couldn't see it being at anything below junior middleweight. And if they fought, I think the fight would be a controversial split decision for Mayweather.
