I think AJ maybe had more talent than Frank Bruno, but they were from different times. I'd compare Frank Bruno to Henry Cooper, no end of courage or heart, both so loved by a nation. Frank won a world title. Sad about the racism at the time, including from some other black fighters, calling him "Uncle Tom". (See Channel 4's Four Kings).

I also disagree about Michael 'God Bless You' Grant, as he didn't have any dog in him when things got rough. He was definitely brave, as are all fighters, but I'll never forget how Lennox Lewis treated him like a rag doll inside two rounds. Deontay used to respond when someone brought the heat (pre Fury).

Why must Usyk fight Kabayal? As jackblack008 says on page two, other fighters have to prove they are world champion quality. If Oleksandr dropped dead tomorrow would three belts remain vacant forever? No, the other boxers would have to earn them, just like since forever. Let's face it, Oleksandr has promised he wants Fabio Wardley's WBO belt back and that might be a last bout. The way some people talk, they would be happy prising the lid off Usyk's coffin in 50 years and saying "we have finally found someone to beat you, so you're nothing, you great big has been". Oleksandr is not going to be around forever, let the others battle each other, gather more fans and build up interest in boxing and fight for a belt.
