Should Paul Williams name be put into consideration if Jermain Taylor drops out?

Not a bad idea at all.

Williams can easily fight at 68. And he'd add an exciting style as opposed to the two American runners in the tourney.

IMO, there's more deserving fighters than Williams who should get in.

Well Abraham hadn't either, and an argument can be made that the Wright win was better than anything AA had on his resume. But it would be a tough sell over guys like the Andrade/Bute winner, Sakio Bika or Allen Green. Not enough time for any elim bouts either.

More deserving yes considering he never fought at 168. But he would be the biggest name fighter they could get and people would want to see him.
