Couldn't agree more. Josh Kelly has the skills or more so the talent to be an elite fighter but for me he showed his mental weakness more than once even in the Davis fight i think it was the last round. He got hit with one solid shot and even though he was not woobled or anything, he was completely clueless on how to handle this situation which is suprising to me as almost every fighter with this kind of experience goes throigh situations like this in sparring since forever.

If he shows up like i suspect him to show up i guess the best thing for Kelly is to get knocked out quick otherwise he will receive a beat of a beating and quit. But maybe he knows that his is shot and he has to get himself together an be a man and if thats the case he could really pull of the upset.

Murtazaliev will have a head of steam coming into the fight after being shamelessly avoided; and not being able to fight for a year, he stops Kelly after having to chase him around..

Can't disagree with that. He's always had great speed, and skills and the ability to throw in combination.

The Avanseyan fight sticks long in the mind. He didn't hit hard enough to stop the forward march and unfortunately threw up all the distress signals once he started getting hit.

Pretty sure he gets stopped in the mid rounds after some flashy early success.

Josh is the hometown hero. I'm counting on his mental toughness because of that. A: He wont let his fans down and B: the hometown ref won't let him let his fans down. That's one of the drawbacks of being a hometown hero. Quick stops are for the visitor.
