This has clickbait-ish in the headline because I saw the interview when Eddie said this and it was very conversation like. It wasn't a panic type of look or worry. He simply said that if anyone is going to say, I want to continue fighting, it will be coming from AJ. Eddie said he isn't pushing AJ or asking him, that it will come from AJ himself. Nothing wrong with that. The dude has so much money, he could build a throne on it and just sit comfortably for the rest of his life. The only reason to continue is because he loves doing it. There is no real other reason when he has FU money.
I personally don't care either way. He is definitely part of the old gen whose just around because he can be. It's time for the new wave of heavyweights to come up and stamp their name.Comment

I was there at the Whyte fight and although he did away with the overweight Whyte he was caught and reminded me of the time I was ringside when Bonecrusher did a job on Bruno , less dramatic but I thought the signs were there. He's been well matched over the years and the huge money he's made is more to that end than to the ring talent he has. In my opinion he is the boxer that has made the most money with the least talent although I don't begrudge him or any of these guys a penny ! Aside from the odd silly comments he's made he is a testament to where hard work and good living can get you .Comment
