Comments Thread For: For Anthony Joshua, the only thing that matters is his mental well-being

The world was a different place when the plans were being laid out for Anthony Joshua?s future at the end of last year. Now, after the passing of two of his close friends, boxing understandably takes a back seat for the former heavyweight champion.

It appears mental fragility is AJ's default mode. I don't expect he'll lace em up again, not even for the Sausage King, Fury.

That Fury now feels the fight he was marinating with Joshua is in jeopardy and was 'forced' to come out of retirement as if to say, 'look joshy, I'm training and ready to make bank with you now' reeks of shameless opportunism.Greedy belly gonna greedy belly.

The whole U.K fraud hype ransoming belts scene is a blot on boxing's credibility. No wonder no one is taking Wardley or Itauma seriously let alone Chisora and Okolie.

Fisheyed Frank and Fast Eddie have lost their mojo. Joshua is best served staying out of the orbit as they do not have his mental well-being as a priority.
