    Futsal is an increasingly popular sport on the global stage and the fast-paced, five-a-side indoor version of football demonstrates highly-skilled, intricate and technical action which is full of excitement. UEFA Futsal Euro 2026 runs from Wednesday 21st January to the final on Saturday 7th February 2026.

    Venues
    The tournament will be split across three cities in three countries: Riga in Latvia, Kaunas in Lithuania and Ljubljana in Slovenia.

    Arena Riga will host five Group A matches, one Group B match and one quarter-final.

    Žalgirio Arena in Kaunas will host five Group B matches, one Group A match and one quarter-final.

    There are two arenas in Ljubljana - Arena Stozice and Tivoli Arena - which will host the remaining matches, with Arena Stozice the venue for the final.

    Teams
    A total of 16 teams will contest UEFA Futsal Euro 2026, including the defending champions Portugal, record winners Spain and the three host nations.

    Group A: Latvia (co-hosts), Croatia, Georgia, France

    Group B: Lithuania (co-hosts), Armenia, Czechia, Ukraine

    Group C: Slovenia (co-hosts), Belarus, Spain, Belgium

    Group D: Italy, Hungary, Portugal (holders), Poland

    The 16 nations contesting UEFA Futsal EURO 2026 have been drawn into four groups of four, with the top two in each group progressing to the knockout stages.

    From the quarter-finals it is a single match all the way to the final, which will decide the champions.

The tournament will be historic for Armenia, as the national team will take part in the final stage of the European Championship for the first time.
