MIchael Eifert, it seems, will finally get his shot at light heavyweight champ Dmitry Bivol, who is officially on the clock to honor his long-overdue mandatory.

Whilst Eifert deserves his shot, I'm hoping Bivol v Betterbeef 3 still happens. I had Artur just shading the 2nd fight but A draw would have been fair.

Looks like Bivol is just going to age Beterbiev out.

He deserves jack ish. He never beat anyone and that's why boxing has such a bad reputation. This guy Eifert knows he can't beat any top 15 fighter and just decided to sit for 2 years and not fight because if he fights someone half decent he gets stopped and he will never again get a title fight.

If boxing would stop shooting itself in the foot they would have scratched Smith from the Morrell fight and make Morrell vs Eifert. Morrell knocks him out in quick fashion and either rematches Khataev or if Smith gets himself ready for a fight they fight after all that whoever comes out on top would be deserving to face whoever comes outon top between Bivol, Beterbiev and Benavidez.

Eifert Eifert Eifert i really think nobody saw this guy fighting because if you would have you would realise he would lose in bad fashion against someone like Craig Richards or Willy Hutchinson complete waste of time. It's not even like he is unproven but talented like a Ben Whitaker he is just not anywhere near world level and never will be. IBF always comes up with these guy out of nowhere
