Look, I think Oscar was one of the most exciting boxers in history, an all-time great

With promoting, I don't know, it's a dirty business, and I guess some will say a bad sign that Canelo, Ryan and now Vergil or his team all have problems with Golden Boy promotions.

I do believe Vergil wants that Ennis fight badly, and that Turki is offering a lot of money to both Vergil and Jaron. The trainers, managers and assistants will also make some good money then as well.

Recently Oscar was saying things to the effect of he's not going to make Ortiz-Ennis or not keen on it.

The harsh truth is that Oscar doesn't think Vergil can win that fight.

Avoid Boots? He signed for the fight last year, Boots did not.

Now he is going against his promoter stating wants negotiations to continue unlike what DLH is saying. That shows he wants the fight not the other way around.

Turki at present has not made an offer that is the issue, without Saudi money it is harder to make as the split needs to satisfy everyone and only based on what they generate without Saudi money. When Turki made an offer last year it was Ortiz who accepted and Boots did not. This fight does only happens if Turki makes another offer to them. His offers are not splits. They are direct take it or leave it offers to each fighters a set sum. Most usually accept as it is more than they will ever get otherwise

ODLH said in the article: "Vergil’s team hired a new attorney who is also Canelo [Alvarez’s] attorney – the same guy who sued to get Canelo out of his Golden Boy contract [in 2020]. Does that sound fishy to you?"

This doesn't sound fishy at all. If you had an issue with Golden Boy and needed legal representation, you would look to hire someone who had a successful track record in legal proceedings against Golden Boy.

I think Oscar knows deep down Vergil loses to boots and didnt want to risk it. Sorta like how he protected Munguia and Canelo because all lose the second they face a skilled boxer.
