"will not box again until I’m back to 100% & I don’t know when that will be". Perfect! Take your time. Also, it's ok if you retire. Actually...I think it would be best, specially for us.

I guess a lot of people will say that's an excuse from Eubank jr but to be fair there was a very long interview/podcast Eubank jr did it was some weeks after the first fight and at one point something slipped out of his mouth which hinted that he is dealing with some health issues the interviewer catched it and tried to dig deeper and you could clearly see that Eubank Jr was not saying this on purpose and only realised after the reporter followed up on it. Eubank Jr played it off trying to make it look like there is no health issue.

What was the ilness Vergil Ortiz Jr had? I heard it comes along with symptomps of severe dehydration and swelling on your body and muscles. I remember Eubank Jrs face and whole head was akwardly swollen after the first fight this was clearly not due to damage from punches and he later confirmed his swelling on his whole body came from the dehydration.

Day before weigh ins were brought in due to safety concerns which suggests responsible sanctioning bodies should refuse to allow rehydration clause. Problem with that is IBF title fights all have one imposed!

Nash Rules has overturned Benn's win and declared the fight a NC. Nash Rules has ordered an immediate trilogy fight and the winner gets to guest on Carl Froch's Podcast "Froch on Fighting". It is expected that Benn will duck Eubank, but Eubank will get a great fight one way or the way. We'll see him d****d in Louis Vuitton again soon enough, don't worry about that. It's rhabdo, issue is it can be related to PEDs or over exercising whilst dehydrated but yes it can cause kidney failure, heart problems, and even death...

For context the "exercise induced rhabdo is 0.03% chance to happen to boxers and 0.04% for militarily men."

Absolutely see no need for jnr to attempt to make a return at smw or any weight for that matter, made life changing money in his last 2 fights, looked completely shot to bits in last fight. Plus the medical issues hes indirectly mentioned he had in both camps. Theres really no need to risk health any further. Buds retired, canelo wont box him, and all other opponents wont make him any money so why bother

He looked emaciated at 160. Good idea to put on weight; his kidneys will enjoy the added water.
