This was what all the talk was about? How big Zuffa was going to be, Dana White, Turki, Nick Khan, blah, blah, blah.... And now 2 great shows featuring the great Callum Walsh who looked awful with Vargas' son (who resembled a novice golden gloves fighter) and then we have Rayo Valenzuela who was taken apart by Gary Russell.. Sounds like it has as much excitement as a wet firecracker!!!

Pretty disastrous for boxing that a promotion such as Top Rank who has a lot of good fighters doesn't have a TV deal but Zuffa has a TV deal with basically leftovers and unproven stars for their roster.

It's all about connections in this world. Dana's political connections made this deal happen. You can find the in and outs of that if you research. I think also Sean Zittel has a video about how exactly Paramount and CBS is connected to the President (or is it is his son in law?) and TKO.

Every real boxing fan should just pray for TKO to fail. If they adopt the UFC model fighters will not have to pay 3 percent or less to sanctining bodies. They will have to give up 80-90 percent of the total to Dana and his friends and if they don't like you they will never give you a title shot or even just cut you even though you are the best in the world.

The UFC was great during the pandemic and it kept a lot of fight fans "alive" but everyone who follows the UFC and is not a 12 year old ****** knows that they are absolutely corrupt and all these fighters are ****** and nothing more. All this the best fighting the best is absolute bs and you just need to go to the comments of the fight card announcements they make to see that the actual UFC fans are more upset than boxing fans.

You have a nr.1 contender for 3 years and he pulls out with an injury and out of the sudden Dana decides that this guy does not get a title shot again and literally says he don't give a .... what the rankings says.

It is a popularity contest like it is in boxing but the UFC is evolving at fast pace to a clown show that is at least on the same level as boxing if not worse. You have the heavyweight champion that leaves the UFC to receive a decent paycheck in boxing which now burned the bridges with Dana his majesty and will not be able to fight for the "world title" again. They then decided to let Jon Jones fight for the belt and defend it against a guy who did not fight for 3 years was 42 at the time and was knocked out by the real champ Ngannou in his last fight.
Meanwhile the clear cut Nr.1 Contender Aspinal was put on the sideline and promised the winner which never happened either.

These are just two stories but this happens on a monthly basis in the UFC you have new guys brought in, fighting for the belt in their first fight and other guys being ranked Nr.1 and unbeaten for years who are put on some prelims, praying the can get a title shot one day or atleast a 50K performance bonus. All that while Dana has hundreds of millions in his account.

UFC is way less of a sport and more of a business than boxing and it's totally fregmented you have a lot of elite guys in other Organizations that will never fight the UFC fighters and honestly being the UFC Champ does not mean at all that you are the best or world champion, it just means you are a UFC champ which by now does not even mean you are the best in the organization as they pick and choose by popularity.

Let's call it a start. A very bad start for sure but hey let's see maybe they can sign Uisma Lima and have a "mega" fight.

And honestly i'm pretty sure he will beat Callum Walsh. Rayo decided to play with F level fighters. Why not just retire and beat up random newbies at your local fitness boxing gym?
