He had no chance of winning the tourney , why do you think he is avoiding top comp like the plague , a 70% Kessler beat the best Mundine has been , he has gone backwards since then , he makes good money fighting nobodys milking his former rugby fans , the boxing scene in Aus are fed up with him fighting a constant stream of very poor opposition , and he is struggling with some of them .

wow, i haven't read about mundane for while, i usually couldn't be bothered but curiosity got the better of me. gotta say, no real change, who the f@#k was his opponent?? whats real funny is Geale had the tougher opponent of the 2, well, on paper anyway, mundane made sure he got the guy with less KO's. Geale has potential i think, he just needs more experience and more power.

i cant believe some of you think he should be in the super 6 tourney, for one, mundane would have no part of it cos there is a massive chance he will lose, and there is no way mundane would take such a chance!!

lastly, i love how the writer could not bare to include "Champion" and simply opened the article with "IBO middleweight"......LOL!! the writer couldn't bare to call this waste a champion!!

hey mundane, on the off chance you read this, either step up and fight or piss off and stop bringing disgrace to Aussie boxing!!

oh and Geale, on the off chance you read this, don't waste your time and effort on mundane, as much as we'd love to see you beat him to a pulp, your career is more important. im mean really, if you were to make it big in boxing, are any of the big wigs in boxing gonna give a flying f@#k if you have a W against mundane on your resume??

Poor old Mundine, so much potential and yet so little backbone. I'm afraid his time is now past and he will slip into boxing obscurity.

His time has definatley passed mate.

All hate aside he looked woeful out there last night. Landing one punch at a time, slow on his feet. I think he is pretty much done and Geale will beat him in a rematch.

I guess I was always a closet Mundine fan. Watching him now makes me sad. I was always prepared to make an excuse for him and promise myself he would look better next time.

Maybe he hasn't recovered from his hip, or his eye, or is struggling to make weight or he just looked bad because his opponent was backpeddling all night.

The fight last night was (for me) probably the final nail in his casket. Then again, I've said that after his last 5 fights. I guess I'll never learn.
