Against whom? Shane Mosley? Vargas was shot by then and had to kill himself to make weight and ased upon a correct way of scoring a fight,was ahead at the time of the stoppage.

De La Hoya? Took him long enough and Vargas is pretty much De La Hoya's greatest win.Trinidad struggled life and death against a kid,and who knows what hand wraps Trinidad was using.

He beat Ike Quartey alot more convincingly than any other previous to Winky Wright ever had,he beat a prime Winky Wright,who De La Hoya never wanted anything to do with.
