His first trainer is the one to blame for all his wasted talent. He has terrible footwork and fundamentals in general. His lack of natural fight IQ can not make up for such bad fundamentals hence why he will never be a world class fighter. He relies on speed and power and both of these attributes he is very good definitly world class but not elite. He ain't know Roy Jones Jr to make up for his flaws and Roy really could move his foot speed was unbelievable.

Ryan foot slower than Canelo. No defense. No Head or upper body movement. Really nothing except a twitchy left hook and good timing on that one. Most overrated fighter in my opinion only one solid performance and that's while cheating with PEDs and not making weight. At 140 he would not even crack the top 10 barely a top 15 fighter

Ryan is about to become a Welterweight champion. That’s the tragedy of boxing today.

What’s worse is that he most likely will get another shot at Haney and will most likely beat Haney again. That will make Ryan a unified WW champion.

Being the A side, he could also fight the other belt holder from the UK that I cannot name without googling him.

Now imagine this scenario, Ryan with his three belts goes after Rolly to “avenge” his loss. Whoever wins all those belts will become ONLY the 2nd person in the history of boxing to unify ALL the belts at WW.

The reason people don't like Ryan is because he talks a big fight, then folds.....unless he's on PEDs. He didn't even try to beat Rolly once he got hit hard. It was a disgraceful performance. There is no way he should be fighting for a title.
