It’s not about a desire to fight, it’s a desire to make money and there’s plenty to be made when him and AJ cash out together. F*** both of them. I genuinely hope something goes wrong, we get an upset and they don’t get to milk the fans for the remnants of what was once the biggest fight in boxing.

This article was written by someone who obviously does not understand the mind of someone that is drastically different than them. feel free to think on that as you would like.

narcissism often leads to money but at the heart its just his personality disorder that guides him like all mentally ill people

I hope fury can get a few more good wins and go out on top. But it's risky

It is tough, whether for top fighters or ones that weren't that levelz to retire and feel some purpose is lost.

Tyson Fury has all the money on the world, lovely wife and many, many children. He has the mansion and care, no doubt other property too.

So, I think he would have to adjust what his purpose is, or reasons to get out of bed, as in his family is there.

Also, he must continue his workouts, and perhaps he can be involved as a trainer on a part-time basis.

This exactly. This applies to many professions, not just boxers. Ghandi said happiness lies in contentment. Some people are enlightened enough to have gratitude for the things they were fortunate enough to do and when the time comes move on to new things. They leave behind what they can no longer do and appreciate what they CAN still do and never stop learning and working. Others sit around and get fat and drunk talking about when they were the quarterback on their high school football team... I can certainly understand how it can be near impossible to walk away from something that might be all you've every known. I used to see the old retired guys come by the fire station every morning and I was thinking it was sad that this guy worked his whole life and made it to retirement and despite the fact that he can no longer go on actual calls would still rather be sitting around the station wasting his time than home with his family or fishing or fixing up an old car or going back to school and learning something new. Always worried Fury will have a really hard time once he can't fight (and win) anymore. He said in his book that he had everything-the wife and family, the money, the championship, etc, etc and it still won't fix depression. He was speeding in his Ferrari and almost ended it right there. Hopefully he can find some new meaning and maybe stay around boxing by training younger fighters or doing commentary, etc. No reason he shouldn't. When he's not acting like an ass he has a great personality and is an encyclopedia of boxing. He sadly seems to go to hell once he's not in training for a fight. People at the gym ask me what I'm training for and I simply say "life" and I think that's what he needs to do.

I'm still stuck on him using being sad as an excuse for his crackhead behavior.

It is not the truth that catches up with any person, in any competitive field 'It is just life, priorities and paths can alter'.

Within the boxing community, we see it time and time again 'people speak and project upon fighters, as if they THINK, and PROCESS life just like them 24 hours per day.

Note: Fighters like Tyson Fury, although he may appear similar to certain folk in society 'with his boozing and sometimes poor work ethic when it comes to training. In reality Tyson Fury is an almost complete different creature'.

Tyson Fury is a former Heavyweight Champion of the world, in his chosen profession he can be legally be removed from this planet 'That is the environment he has existed in and survived in for many years. And on top of that he is competitor, because you have to be to survive in the boxing game inside the ring'.

Nobody is discovering a Epiphany here, Tyson Fury has lost two competitive fights back to back vs Oleksandr Uysk 'In my opinion? Fury has always made fairly astute and good tactical moves outside of the ring. I think with the current Heavyweight landscape not really being the best in terms of ability? Tyson Fury is potentially making a move to grasp big opportunities that may arise i.e. potential World title fights vs Fabio Wardley and mega fights vs Anthony Joshua'.

To conclude: Although Tyson Fury has in my opinion has been beaten 4 times in his career, Deontay Wilder I, Francis Ngannou, and then against Oleksandr Usyk twice back to back. He has never suffered a brutal lost, or been knocked out'.

When a fighter like Tyson Fury has not suffered that level of loss, I personally think during the aftermath of fights they still believe they have won 'Tyson Fury right now as we speak, may genuinely believe that he is still undefeated fighter'

And I think it is this factor within his character which is mainly potentially motivating him to make a comeback in the game etc.

Better for Tyson to get cracked in the head a few more times then to sit and wonder what he could still do in he just stepped back into the ring. In this era of boxing he will make a lot more money and get from boxing what he wanted when he had them all believing in him and he believing in himself. Personally i hope to goes on a skid and never recovers from the losses that are awaiting him but not everyone looks at him that way.
