After Dubois - which was comparable to Gerry Cooney v Ken Norton - people who care about the man should have spoken up about his welfare. He got a retirement package from the Gods in the Paul exhibition. Nothing more to prove. Enjoy your riches

      looks like i was wrong

'providing lifelong support to both men’s families'

      fair play joshie

im trying to comprehend the trauma of it all being so close to the two guys and their families & then maybe having some guilt about how it all transpired, rightly or wrongly, i dont know who hired this driver for example, hitting parked trucks at speed has to be extremely reckless, maybe he was a good driver who just had one off moment we dont know either, spur of the moment bad decision

I thought I read there was a tire blowout causing him to lose control but there was a lot of articles and probably a lot of incorrectly reported details. Either way it doesn't change the end result. AJ lost two buddies and his situation is probably no different than someone who doesn't board a plane that ends up crashing and the what if is in their mind for life. What if AJ had sat in the opposite seat where his buddy was? It would have been him dead instead. Pretty damn crazy and lucky at the same time. Imagine, two weeks prior he had just scored a 90+ million paycheck and 2 weeks later he would of turned up dead.

Makes you realize how fragile life is when it could have been the end for a man who looks like he was carved from the Gods and just a large intimidating figure. No amount of muscle or size will help you survive when it's your time to go.

The lawyer of the driver said that AJ was originally in the seat in the front next to the driver. This was the seat who received the must direct damage. Apparentely the driver asked Joshua to switch with his friend since Joshua is so big and it affected his vision.

This was reported by a lot of media the last couple days don't know if true or not but regardless AJ will have scars for life. I also saw Derrick James at the funeral which suprised me a lot but i did not spot Eddie Hearn who must have known both of these guys for quite a long time. But it does not suprise me James was always a classy respectful guy and Hearn is Hearn

I can't imagine Josh was going to fight on.much longer even with no accident. Ultimately the choice is joshs. Would his friends who passed on want Josh to carry on? Errol spence was in a worse accident with more injuries, and who can forget vinny pazienza, but their friends didn't pass on
Take a break have a think about it.

Yeah but it's about mental scars.

Not doing anything wrong living your best cleanest life coming from an all time high payday going to enjoy the end of the year with best friends and family to horror scene, losing 2 of your best friends in a second.
This is a bit different to being an undisciplined lazy drunk who has the smart idea to go into his speed car while being completely wasted just to flip his car and get ejected not even remembering a single thing since he was probaby so wasted he would not have remembered the night even without accident.

Spence had physical damage but mentally if anything it should have motivated him since he actively chose to throw his life away and was granted a second chance. For sure AJ could also turn it into motivation but man that will be a battle for him.
