Meh... Grant gloves seem pretty big too and the ones Mayweather used in the Zab fight were huge.

No idea on a direct answer to your question though....

acouple of day ago on twitter everlast boxing said abraham was wearing everlast with an adidas sticker on em.

thats what i thorght. both camps have to agree on what gloves there fighters are using though. I remember odlh making floyd use reyes gloves as they dont protect protect your hands aswell as the grant or winning one's that floyd useally uses. I've seen a couple of pic's from the fight and abrahams gloves look so much smaller than jermains.

Gloves should be weighed and measured (for width). There should be regulations in how wide a glove can be...kind of like Hockey Goalie pads being measured. To wide and they help with defense. I am not a big fan of gloves being used as shields as they are there to protect your hands. Fighters just taken advantage of what they have which is fair but not something I favor. It would be interesting if they could go to 6oz gloves and keep the width to a certain level.

One thing about MMA gloves, which I think are 4oz ?? is that they aren't there to help you with covering up/defense.

These are MMA training gloves. This is a cool size and if you just make it a full glove like boxing, it would be interesting to see how fights turn out with this size.

Abraham wore the 1910 glove from our company. He loves that glove but his sponser is Adidas so he had to sticker the gloves he wore.

in fact all 4 participants wore Everlast gloves

Taylor- MX or Mexican style glove
Dirrell- 1910 customer made in green
Froch- 1910 with a Lonsdale sticker over it
Abraham- 1910 with an Adidas sticker over it
