Taylor hasn't officially dropped I haven't seen news about it.

I think he'll drop out, MW.

On DiBella's twitter it said "JT out of the hospital and ok. Thats all that matters right now. Boxing is a hard way to earn a living..Getting out healthy is everything.."

Doesn't sound too promising for Taylor's future.

Funny cause I went to the twitter link before I made this thread and saw that, but if he could get Froch I'm sure he can rebound, since he probably is going to be chasing Ward cause that kid ain't trading with him.

I feel ya man, but he's been brutally stopped three times. I've started worry about his health.

Even though Ward isn't a big puncher, who knows, maybe Taylor's chin is cracked.

Comin off a KO loss to Froch, it woulda been ideal for Taylor to face 1 of the light hitters first, Ward or Dirrell. But they wanted to play up the UK-US angle by havin the 3 face off against each other in the 1st rd. I think Kessler woulda KO'd Taylor too tbh. I really hope he walks away. Nothin to be ashamed of. Dude fought the best.

That's correct. What the thread starter is missing is that Ward and Kessler haven't had their first-round fights yet, while the other four fighters have.

Here are the match-ups for the second and third rounds of the group stage, per press release from Showtime:

                GROUP STAGE 2

                ANDRE DIRRELL vs. ARTHUR ABRAHAM

                MIKKEL KESSLER vs. CARL FROCH

                JERMAIN TAYLOR vs. ANDRE WARD

                GROUP STAGE 3

                ANDRE DIRRELL vs. ANDRE WARD

                CARL FROCH vs. ARTHUR ABRAHAM

                MIKKEL KESSLER vs. JERMAIN TAYLOR

Abraham is an Armenian who has made his home in Germany.
                  Kessler is Danish.
                  Froch is the only Brit.

I think he should hang them up (proudly) but I would not be surprised if he continues. It'd be hard to pass up the money.
