Wilder is def going into the HOF. I don't doubt that. And I'm not basing his resume on his first 10/12 fights. Every fighter goes through that process except Lomachenko.
I don't blame Wilder for fighting in a weak HW era. It's not his fault. Wilder is more like Arturo Gatti, a basic but exciting fighter who is in the HOF but that's not to say he was a great boxer.
Wilder is like many guys who've suffered their first defeat AND they were never the same after. There is no shame in losing to Fury but to go on and keep getting beat up like a pinata means Wilder is/was exposed (as many suspected) as a one-trick pony, heavily reliant on his overhand right punch. Again, not a knock on him. It's the one thing that got him where he is today.
