If you thought that Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul was the worst mismatch boxing could offer, think again, says Matt Christie.

This now Makes me want to watch Jake Paul get KO even more. At least it's not the worst mismatch in history.

Wilder anytime he fought someone good was a mismatch

Unfortunately I was at the Garden for Bowe-Dokes. Even for a gimme first defense - awful

Not one of the mentioned mismatches comes close to AJ vs JP.

Olympic gold medalist compareable to a kid who never fought a fight against any heavyweight other than a 60 a year old and he went the distance with him : D

A guy who lost against a not even top 100 ranked cruiserweight. A guy who went the distance with a almost 50 year old middleweight MMA fighter : D

We can twist it as much as we want but this is the biggest mismatch in history. But somehow it is intriguing and thats why we all will watch it.

Truer words have never been spoken.
I can't believe he is spoken of by some as a "modern day great" with a better record than the actual greats due to his KO streak.

Lets not forget that Mayweather McGregor was a greater mismatch than Joshua vs Paul. Think about it before losing your mind

without box-rec-ing his resume - and ignoring the first 10/12 fights as they're nearly always no-hopers and journeymen - weren't the rest at least top 20 hws at the time he thought them? and in some cases arguably top 5 with Ortiz. And if he could go 3 competitive fights with Fury who is likely a top 5 HW the first quarter of this century along with both Klitschko's, and Usyk - then how bad was Wilder really? Not a modern day great but I'm pretty sure he'll get in the HOF.
