+W@TCH)) Tim Tszyu vs. Anthony Velazquez Live Stream PPV December 17th in Sydney

Tszyu (25-3, 18 KO), who stopped Tony Harrison for the interim belt before outclassing Brian Mendoza for the real deal, has dropped three of his last four. Most forgave him his gruesome split decision loss against Sebastian Fundora, which saw him fight through a headbutt-induced cut for much of the bout, but a subsequent clash with Bakhram Murtazaliev saw him dropped four times in three rounds en route to a brutal defeat. Though he bounced back by mauling Joey Spencer, he hit the deck early in his rematch with Fundra and retired in the corner after seven rounds.

Tim Tszyu is set to take on Anthony Velazquez on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at ICC Exhibition Centre, Sydney. The fight is scheduled for 10 rounds in the Middleweight division, which means the weight limit will be 160 pounds (11.4 stone or 72.6 kg).

Velazquez (18-0-1, 15 KO) has a pretty record and the press release laughably calls him an “undefeated star,” but it’s largely fluff built on club shows in Connecticut and Massachusetts. This is a rehab fight for Tszyu, which GreatSouthernCowboy pointed out is also his first under new coach Pedro Diaz.

Sam Goodman (20-1, 8 KO) makes his return to action after August’s unsuccessful title bid against Nick Ball, taking on unheralded fellow Aussie Tyler Blizzard (10-0, 4 KO), while 2024 Olympian Callum Peters (4-0, 4 KO) continues his pro campaign after nearly slugging his way past eventual silver medalist Nurbek Oralbay in Paris last year.
