I've always been a Donaire fan , especially after he beat the snot out of that ****** Vic The **** Darchinyan . Tsutsumi is MY DOG though. This is a very interesting fight , I see a couple of ways that it can go most likely among them is a straight up shootout. At this stage in their respective careers I believe that Tsutsumi may well have too much for Nonito. If it gets ugly in there I hope that Rachel does right by Nonito and doesn't decide to be too brave for his health.
Donaire will literally fight anyone. From highly avoided stylistic nightmares like Rigo, guys dangerous punchers who are far naturally bigger like Walters, and then the elite of the elite in their prime like Inoue.
Huge respect to Nonito, and whilst I expect he may come up short, I’d love to see him upset Tsutsumi.
Respect to the Filipino Flash for all his achievements until now and whatever he has left in the tank.
A fighter who's character & ethos are at least as admirable as his pugilistic prowess.
I've defended Donaire fighting on many times on here because, if there's literally no one else in the division outside of the champ(s) that can beat him, how can you tell him to retire? How can you tell a guy that's probably in the top ten in two divisions to hang em up?
But I heard him in an interview on Mannix and Mora's podcast earlier this year and HOLY ****, the man's speech is completely unrecognizable from what it was a decade ago.

He needs to retired IMMEDIATELY.
A lot can change in 10 years: he was rebuilding after being stopped by Walters. Fast forward ten years and sixteen fights later, and no wonder he's beginning to show cognitive impairment. He could've retired after Inoue stopped him, but he didn't. It seems like Nonito is prepared to drive until the wheels come off....similar to Chisora. If he beats Tsutsumi, he may try to unify. However, I think he'll be wise enough to not step in the ring with Bam.
Nonaire fights anyone and I always been a fan of his. But you can see how all that damage is showing up physically and cognitively, hopefully he retires instead of taking more damage to his body and brain.
I hope hes doing it because he likes it and wants to stay active and not doing it for the money. Dont let your wife or kids use and abuse you and leave you in a group home.
Nonito is old school. Dude fought everyone coming up and definitely had a run that felt similar to Pacquiao when he was starching everyone with that left hook. Some might say he was a tad weight bully in that he did appear to be the bigger man against most of his opponents, but still, he made the weight, lol.
