Jesse would be coming up two weights with Naoya being the favorite

TBud came up two weights being the underdog

Saul was higher risk for TBud than Jesse is for Naoya

      Best fighters in Boxing today:

      1. Terence Crawford
      2. Naoya Inoue

usyk fan boys have to be crying while 40 year old usyk has no fight scheduled and hasn't fought in 6 months...

Terence Crawford is the true King of Boxing right now and Naoya Inoue has Bam Rodriguez and a MEGA fight vs his fellow Jap on the horizon.

usyk will fade and usyk legacy not much from just an incredibly soft and weak heavyweight division.

Uysk is the number 1 in my book and its not even close,he cleared out and dominated Cruiserweight then moved up and has cleared out Heavyweight for all the belts against guys who outweigh him by considerable margins

Crawford has beaten two names who were shadows of theirselves in their prime, please tell me how that makes him the pound for pound number 1

I guess eaten bread is soon forgotton with you!!!

Usyk unifying Cruiserweight and still being undefeated if he was fighting mandatories in cruiser should be enough for hik to be considered pound for pound material but to do what he actually did and move up to heavy to fight guys who outweigh him by 30lbs on average is glorious

Other guys move up weight and win they get praise but they end up weighing the same at the weigh ins

Whats so hard to understand about how great it is for a cruiser to go up and unify

Its mores than just going up a weight its going up in weight and being at a huge weight disadvantage at the same time

Let's see but, those are clearly the highest level fights in boxing now.
talk about chasing greatness, he can be cemented as the #1 P4P.
              Why are you mentioning Bam??

Inoue beating someone two weight classes below his last fight means nothing as far as legacy much like Lomas win over Rigondeaux

Terrence Crawford cannot live off his one great win vs Canelo Alvarez forever 'so for now? Crawford will be rated in the top 3 pound for pound fighters in the world. But really in my opinion, Oleksandr Uysk should still be rated as the best pound for pound fighter in the sport of boxing'.

Note: Unlike Terrence Crawford, Oleksandr Uysk has great wins over fighters who were not dead at the weight 'Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua twice back to back'. And even from a pure physiological perspective? Uysk moving up into the Heavyweight Divisions and becoming a Undisputed Champions was more impressive than any feat Terrence Crawford has achieved in his career'.

Crawford's move to the Super Middle Weight Divisions, is not comparable to Oleksandr Uysk's move into the Heavyweight Divisions 'Crawford for the majority of his career, has weight drained himself to be the big man on fight night. And in my opinion? He has tactically avoided fighting at his more natural fighting weight until very recently'.

To conclude: So therefore, is Terrence Crawford one of the greatest fighters of his generation? Yes without a shadow of a doubt. Is Crawford skill for skill one of the most gifted fighters of this boxing era? Yes.

But his resume on a fight by fight basis, is completely overrated his best wins are against 'versions of Kell Brook, Errol Spence Junior, and Amir Khan Miles outside of their peak. A semi-retired Shawn Porter, and a version of Canelo Alvarez who was dead at the weight of 168 pounds. They are all still solid wins, but in my opinion? Terrence Crawford does not have any all-time great wins on his resume, and has not been involved in any all-time great fights'.

Both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua's wins over Wladimir Kiltschko are more historically significant to boxing and greater individual wins than any of Terrence Crawford's best wins 'Wladimir Kiltschko vs Anthony Joshua is the greatest heavyweight title fight of the past 25 years. And Tyson Fury's win over Wladimir Kiltschko was the catalyst which eventually lead to a new heavyweight boxing era being initiated by Anthony Joshua'.

The point I am trying to make is? Terrence Crawford is clearly a very talented and capable fighter. But greatness is not just about skills, it is also about feats achieved. And I personally think Crawford's resume and career is overrated'.

Canelo Alvarez still has a better resume, and has beaten a higher number of superior fighters than Terrence Crawford 'those are the facts'.

So for now Terrence Crawford deserves credit for his recent achievements, which have been aided by the timing of his fights vs Errol Spence Junior and Canelo Alvarez. But I don't think this high is going to last long, quite simply because his resume on a more in depth analysis does not really fortify his pound for pound greatness in the game. To the same level as past great fighters like Roy Jones Junior, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao' etc.
