Gassiev would be perfect for Bridgerweight.

This is a good fight but it should not have any "World" title match attached to it. The regular title is a joke.

Gassiev should be able to win this, pulev is a stationary old man so he should be able to land his bombs, he can't hit a moving target to save his life though. You talk about stiff.

People need to give credit to Kubret Pulev for staying in the game for this long, and? Once upon a time, during the absolute peak of Wladimir Kiltschko's super dominant heavyweight reign 'Pulev really produced a good effort in that fight'.

Kubret Pulev was the first fighter for many years, to really just try and bull Wladimir Kiltschko 'for as long as that fight lasted it was top level'.

I think throughout the years Kubret Pulev has been an underrated heavyweight fighter, at his peak skill for skill 'I would rate his ability higher than most of the active heavyweight fighters today'.

Note: The rematch vs Derek Chisora II 'could have so easily went his way, the decision to give Chisora the win was not super controversial. But it did seem like a very fortunate decision for Derek Chisora'.

So really only two fighters have beaten Kubret Pulev in his career conclusively 'and those fighters are Wladimir Kiltschko and Anthony Joshua'.

To conclude: I think Kubret Pulev on pure ability has been a better fighter than Murat Gassiev throughout his career 'if they were to fight at Heavyweight during their peak, I would back Pulev to win. And even now at this stage of Pulev's career, I would honestly not be surprised if he could survive and box his way to a win. It is not inconceivable for me to be able to envision such a outcome to the title fight'.

People are stating that Pulev is a static fighter at this stage of his career 'I understand that Murat Gassiev has given Oleksandr Uysk at tough fight, and held the IBF Cruiserweight title briefly. But stylistically a part from his power, he does seem like a way more naturally static fighter than Pulev. Gassiev to me has always appeared to be a very compact, powerful but basic fighter'.

Murat Gassiev should be the favourite to win this fight, but I would not be surprised if stylistically Kubret Pulev makes the fight more difficult for Gassiev than many people are anticipating' etc.

Gassiev somehow lost a decision to Otto Wallin. Does not instill much confidence

Hopefully today is the day Pulev retires. Gassiev better not let us down. No one wants to see Itauma fight a 45 year old.
