Even though he seem to be of poor character outside of the ring, I enjoy Tank's patient style of setting traps, reading tells, and finding the right big shots, what is not to like with Inoue? he has it all and is offensive enough that he might get clipped so they'll be some drama, Bivol is a masterclass of the old soviet style. I am a fan of Lara, takes alot of skill and smarts for him to still be world class at 42, I became a fan of Rafael Espinoza in his breakout fight, can box, lots of variety, willing to fight and throw in volume.

Its fun watching fighters progress and develop, if they keep winning they fight a truly world class fighter for the first time and that is when we see what they're really made of. Those kinds of fights are some of my must see one.

Once you prove yourself like Usyk, Crawford, and Inoue has done, I am happy for the fighters and look forward to their fights.

Well said. That type of journey is quite enjoyable.

I'm a big fan of the heavyweights and I want the World Champion to be American. Nothing present prestige and power more than the U.S of A. So naturally, a World boxing Champion from let's say....California fits the bill. So I'm a fan of Richard Torrez, Joshua Edwards ,Jared Anderson, and Michael Hunter. I was really emotionally invested into Deontay Wilder when he had his run. I hope he pulls it off against Usyk but I'm a realist and I recognize that he doesn't have the Ukrainian's skill set.

I do like David Benavidez, Ryan Garcia, Shakur Stevenson, Bud, Jamaine Ortiz, Teo, and Barboza jr.
Americans I don't like are Tank, Haney, Keyshawn Davis, Richardson Hitchens, and Edgar Berlanga.

I'm a fan of some of the up and comers such as Delante Johnson, Bruce Carrington, Darius Fulghum, Cayden Griffiths, Ben Whittaker, Moses Itauma, Vito Mielnicki Jr, and more.

I like Tyson Fury, Bivol, Chisora and a few more.
I don't like Canelo and his cry baby fanbase or Usyk.

Rooting for your country is cool but cheering for someone because of skin color is some backwards tribal bs.

              I'm probably forgetting a few.

I would say my 3 favorite fighters are Ryan Garcia, Jared Anderson, and Richard Torrez.

You root for the P4P #1 who has things stacked in their favour so you can claim superiority over others to fill the hole in your empty life. Hagler is just misdirection to make it not seem like you're a product of the low activity "A side" era.

As for the OP: I'm a pasty white Englishman whose first trip to the US was in support of Hopkins over Pavlik.

                      why dislike Usyk?

Faithful Deontay fan is true love for your fellow countrymen

I knew Deontay was going to be undeveloped when he revealed his fighting mindset, "I only need to be perfect for 2 seconds."

Pretty Boy the boxer-punch was my least favorite version

my fav iteration of Floyd was TBE the pure box so from Robert onwards

his father's influence restored his jab and footwork

Floyd was evolving from $ May to TBE in Cotto fight, but Miguel was good enough to force Pretty Boy out in spurts

Pure boxes are so much rarer than boxer-punches when it comes to the highest tier all time guys
