Gentlemen, please don't be short sighted or narrow minded. Belts don't make someone a great boxer. Sam Langford would probably beat everyone alive today. Yet, he never got a title shot. Same thing goes for Charley Burley. They never had a title or a shot at one, but their greatness is undeniable. Everyone who fought them said they were among the best to ever lace up gloves. Not saying Vergil Ortiz is on their level, but he's definitely a credible fighter, with or without a title. Same thing goes for Boots. He's clearly credible and a great boxer, with or without fancy names on his resume. And everyone who has fought either one of them, says the same things, how good they are. No amount of nitpicking or criticizing them for not having titles or name opponents on their resume, can change their ability and skill level.
