Bivol lets his hands go in combinations and punches with authority, he's not a jab-and-grab merchant like Haney. He boxes his way out of trouble using footwork and punches, he doesn't just grab hold and look to the ref for separation.

They're not the same, and it has nothing to do with the colour of their skin (which is clearly what you're trying to insinuate). It's boring and predictable. Bivol is a classical boxer, Haney is a spoiler. They're both difficult to beat but for different reasons.
I personally can't stand watching Bivol. I picked him to beat Canelo, he is a very skilled boxer and a nice guy. But he isn't exciting to watch. Before he beat Saul no one talked about him. Afterwards he is the KING. LOL. He fought going backwards against Biev in both fights and IMO deserved to lose both.

Regardless, Bivol is miles more entertaining than Huggy. When he dropped Norman I though, cmon dude, stop Norman and show us that you can back up the mouth. But nope. Right back to clench hold break repeat. The dude should have points taken at the bare minimum.

If Haney had stopped Norman the narrative would be, "Has Haney found a new side to himself in training?" People would have been excited. His naysayers, just after the Prograis fight, would have have seen a glimmer of hope for excitement. But nope.

Haney is universally disliked because he hugs a lot and whines too much. He has all the personal traits that turn off ppl.

Good summary. Comparing Bivol and Haney and trying to make them look about the same is a very long stretch of the bow. I am not sure what Breadman's motivation is here but he is not seeing this one clearly.

as for the ryan garcia comparison that doesnt make any sense either

ryan garcia is most recognised as a total ass hat douche bag, he gets busted for peds comes back straight into a title fight and having lost and looked horrible he amazingly goes straight into another title fight with another org LOL

ryan garcia should be really compared to people like tank davis who is a ppv guy most famous for avoiding all the top guys in his division for year after year after year, garcia and tank are basically top top tier privileged boxers, you dont get any more privileged than these guys

you could lump eggie benn into this category actually as well, very average beat an over the hill drained never that great eubank all on his name alone

Loma fans are very emotional people.

And Haney fans embrace his cheating.

Loma got robbed of an obvious win, knowing he was getting close to retirement. Haney and his pop were both ****ting themselves with joy when they announced that fixed BS, knowing he had actually lost. LOL.

              Haney fans are pathetic.

Why do some fans criticize Haney more then Garcia/Benn? 1: Due to his championship experience and his self-perception as an ATG in the making, more is expected from him. 2: His father never stops talking.

This is before you get to his fighting style. If fans found him to be consistently entertaining, everything else would be forgiven.

Haney hugs too much, wins ugly on purpose and then thumps his chest. It's the refs fault for allowing him to rassle and caress. One time, maybe, but all the time? It's an act of avoidance, wet their powder, dud approach.
