this is very disappointing. canizales fought only 4 months ago and they couldn't wait to strip him. but when jermall didn't fight at all for 2 years, wbc could wait and give him time. when canelo didn't fight wbc mandatory for more than 2 years, they were totally ok with it. s c u m bags.

carlos was very unlucky (understatement) in his first 3 title fights and they stripped him promptly when he finally won it. i am very sorry for this warrior.

This dude is one of the best, most entertaining smaller weight fighters in recent years, and yet he has had such an unfortunate career. multiple fights canceled due to Venezuela and Thailand screwing him over on the airwaves....Being outweighed by 20 pounds against a random Mexican with no scouting report, The Awful decision he had to rematch in venezuala just to rightfully become champion after they robbed him in Thailand...WHY AREN'T THE WBC BACKING THIS EXCITING CHAMPION?
